Buying specialist Lynx Purchasing is bolstering its strength with the appointment of David Catherall, who will be joining as director of business development (north).
Previously with Bunzl Catering Supplies, in his new role, Catherall will be working with a number of existing Lynx Purchasing customers to deliver savings on food and drink, along with other key products and services, as well as developing his own portfolio of operators.
Catherall worked with Bunzl for 10 years in a number of roles, focused on supporting hospitality customers. Prior to that, he spent 15 years in hospitality management, giving him extensive experience of purchasing from an operational perspective.
